We have a fabulous space we have built in an old farm building, with its own small kitchen and fully stocked bar area, and a Sonos speaker system which can be controlled via an app

The function room is available for hire for virtually any kind of function. Many birthdays, engagement and staff parties have been held here over the years. We can accommodate up to 150 people.  We can provide everything from a bacon bap with your breakfast meeting, to a cold buffet for your birthday lunch or even a five course dining experience using rectangular or round tables and table clothes

The function room is available during the day time for training days, meetings, social gatherings or day time functions. Many local firms use the shack, liking the rural location, large car park,  WiFi and Projector screen or 40″ Smart TV available to use for Power Point Presentations etc and endless tea and coffee makes for a comfortable working environment. We can also provide catering in the form of hot plated meals to sandwich buffets and platters. See a sample of our buffet menus in the booking form .

Our function room also has had many great nights of entertainment and laughter over the years. Check out our diary under the events tab or our Facebook page for all our up and coming events. Live music events, tribute acts, comedy night, quiz nights and bingo to name but a few things on the line up for 2024. 

Please note* As we have a fully rated kitchen on site we prefer to cater ourselves, but may also use our own preferred outside caterers, so cannot allow for your own food brought in. You are welcome to bring your own celebration cake.

Assortment of miniature sandwiches (white and granary) including

• Cheese and cucumber

• Fingers of wholemeal bread with smoked salmon.

• Fruit and plain scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream.

CHARGES RE HIRING FUNCTION ROOM

Large Party or celebration which requires kitchen to be in use most of the day and including laying of tables and seating – £150.00 all day

From 2pm until midnight – £100.00

Shorter periods from – £50.00

Concessions apply to regular customers who want to book the skittle alley and normally £25.00 charged.
